Mr. Ryan graduated from Michigan State with a B.S. Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and was a certified Professional Engineer. After working as an engineer for eight years, he decided to pursue a teaching career and received a M.S. degree from Oregon State University in Mathematics Education. Mr. Ryan has taught at public schools in Oregon and at a Christian school in Oklahoma. He moved to the Reno area and joined Legacy in the fall of 2008.

Mr. Ryan is married with three young children. He has been involved with family ministry groups at his previous churches in Oklahoma and Oregon. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, traveling, hiking and skiing.
