Ms. Ward was born in Vallejo, California. She grew up in Washington State on a working farm with her sister and parents where they raised cattle and built their house from scratch. She was home-schooled through the junior high years and then attended a Christian High School. After high school, she attended a 2-year Bible college and then transferred to University of Nevada at Reno, where she received a BS in Elementary Education, with a certification in Special Education. While in college, she served as a campus leader for the Campus Crusade for Christ organization. During her college days, she was also able to serve on a short-term mission trip to Australia.  Kristin has always wanted to be a teacher where she can help the children discover God and succeed as students.
