PTF Committee Chairperson

The Board will appoint a chairperson for each committee by voice vote. Chairpersons shall assume their duties beginning July 1st of the upcoming school year and shall serve for one term of one year and/or until selection of their successor(s).

Chairpersons shall:

  • Be a member of CLEA in good standing.
  • Be in agreement with the CLEA Statement of Faith.
  • Agree to submit to the leadership of the CLEA Board and the PTF Board.
  • Attend a local church that is in accordance with the CLEA Statement of Faith.
  • Be a regular attendee of church.
  • Demonstrate initiative, leadership, integrity, and maturity in personal and professional relationships.
  • Be committed to praying for CLEA.
  • Be in excellent financial standing with CLEA on an ongoing basis.

The PTF Chairpersons will be responsible for forming their own committees as needed throughout the year. The PTF Chairpersons may also appoint committee coordinators as needed, with PTF approval. The Chairpersons will be responsible for reporting back to the PTF at regular PTF meetings.

A member may hold more than one Chair position. In the event of a vacancy, the power to appoint a Chairperson shall rest with the Officers of the Board.

Special committees may be formed by the Board on an as-needed basis. Such special committees may be incorporated into a standing committee at a later date due to a continuing need of the activities or events on an ongoing basis.

No committee work shall be undertaken without the consent and approval of the PTF Board and CLEA Board.
